Jobless monkeys
Fluctuations in the prices of agricultural products have created a new class od unemployed in southern Thailand — several thousand specially-trained monkeys. The furry little toilers, who are used to spending the tropical afternoons clambering up palm trees to pick cocnuts, can now only sit on their hands since the price of coconuts dropped from 20c each to less than 10c. — Bangkok.
