Eighteen hurt in accidents
Eighteen people were admitted toChristchurch Hospital within four hours yesterday after two road accidents.
Nine people were admitted after two cars collided at the intersection of Riccarton Road and Konini Street at 1.46 p.in. One person had moderate injuries, the others suffered minor injuries. Another nine people were admitted after three cars collided at the corner of Avonhead Road and Parkstone Drive at 4.19 p.m. Four were admitted with moderate injuries, and five with minor injuries.
