‘Bomb’ a hoax
Christchurch Airport was cleared by the police about 5 p.m. yesterday after an airline pilot found' a suspiciouslooking parcel in an airport toilet rubbish bin. Explosive experts from the Department of Internal Affairs were called in. After blowing up the parcel on the tarmac some distance from the airport buildings, it was found to contain old clothes.
