Cigarette link in fatal fire
PA Wellington A cigarette is believed to have started the fire in which a man died early yesterday. He was Faleaiup Tui, aged 20.
Mr Tui. who suffered burns to the hands, is believed to have died from asphyxiation.
The Fire Service was called to the Porirua home he was staying at soon after 3 a.m. Damage was confined to one room.
