Sponsors are being invited to send 380 disabled children on a flight around the country in Air New Zealand’s new Boeing 747, as part of the fund-raising activities for Telethon later this month. The project is expected to raise about $190,000 for the Telethon appeal, with sponsorship at the rate of $5OO a seat. People may sponsor one or more children on the flight, which will last about 90 minutes. The children will be treated to a meal and continuous entertainment.
