Man robbed at knifepoint
A midde-aged man was robbed at knifepoint by two youths in the toilets of the Manchester Street car-park about 6.30 p.m. yesterday. The victim lost $3O in cash and credit cards, according to the police. He was threatened, but was not injured. The. background to the incident was not known. The police seek a part-. Maori youth, aged about 17
or 18. about 165 cm (sft. sin); tall, who was wearing a; brown suede jacket, and a 1 European, aged 19 or 20.; with blond hair, who was! wearing jeans. , No arrest had been made; by late last evening, in spite of extensive police inquiries. The car-park toilets have been the scene of several; robberies, mostly involving small sums of money, in the! last few months.
