Corso appeal
• -Sir,—Mr Muldoon has carefully timed his disclosures concerning Corso in an attempt adversely to affect their annual appeal. If he succeeds the net result will be further, avoidable deaths through disease and malnutrition. It is a sad commentary on our society (where high electricity bills are a “hardship”) that efforts to help people in impoverished countries (where a full stomach is a luxury) are undermined as part of a personal vendetta. — Yours, etc, R.
