Manurewa stabbing

PA Auckland A young man staggered into a Manurewa house on Sunday night, told the occupants he had been stabbed, and collapsed to the floor.

He was taken to Middlemore Hospital where his condition was later described as satisfactory. The Otahuhu and Papa-

kura police yesterday. arrested a youth, aged 17, who faces a charge of serious assault.

The stabbing occurred during a disturbance at a house in a street adjoining the one into which the victim went. It is believed that the police found a weapon, possibly used in the stabbing.
