Burning better?
A Surrey builder, Mr John Bartram, has burned down his £65,000 bungalow because he felt that his wife would be the only one left with anything from the proceeds of selling it on the breakup of their marriage. Mr Bartram, aged 43, built the four-bed-room detached bungalow at Elstead, Surrey, five years ago. Mr Bartram, separated from his wife after 17. years of marraige.—London.
