Social Credit policy
Sir,—“The Press” is to be congratulated for today’s re- i port of the interview with Dr McCann, senior lecturer in economics at Canterbury University, which is clearly and succinctly put. Accounts of Social Credit monetary, policy have suffered over the. years through what Dr McCann himself calls “obfuscation.” It may interest readers, to know that Mr Closey, founder of Social Credit in New , Zealand .and a very spry octogenarian living! in this electorate, claims much 1 of Douglas’s theory is inherent in Sedgwick, one of the class!-: cal ‘ economists to whom Dr McCann refers;:—Yours, etfc., RICHARD BACH.
