Tender accepted
A tender of $165,361 from M. L. Paynter, Ltd, has been accepted by the Christchurch Drainage Board for construction work at the Christchurch Treatment Works. ■ This was the lowest of five tenders considered by the board. The highest tender was $189,817. The board also accepted a tender of $118,138 from Greenhalgh Contractors, Ltd, for sewer renewal work on Gasson Street.
