Ho hum, these cages all look the same ... at a world-weary six months of age, this $350 puma looked suitably blase about her airborne jaunt from Adelaide Zoo yesterday. The latest addition to the Willowbank Wildlife Reserve managed to rouse herself to make a quick mental mouthfulcount on the very cautious photographer, who was unimpressed when the zoo staff promised to shut the cage door quickly if anything went wrong—with him inside. The cub has no name yet, but when she reaches maturity at two years she will be mated with the zoo’s four-year-old puma, Coruba.
