Another accommodation alternative is available these days for skiers wishing to indulge themselves at the Amuri club field.
The forestry single man's quarters in Hanmer Springs have been available for large groups since late 1979 and further renovations were carried out a few weeks ago. Up to 100 persons can be' catered for at the Hanmer Springs Forest Camp Trust which is situated about I.6km from the township itself. It is available both during the week and at week-ends and be used by any groups such as schools.
