Engineers convicted
PA Auckland Two more Engineers’ Union members have been convicted of trespass when they appeared in the District Court at Otahuhu. After a defended hearing, Judge Richardson convicted James Lavery, aged 51, an aircraft engineer, of Mangere, on a charge of trespass under the Trespass Act and ordered him to pay $5O costs.
Lavery was discharged without" conviction on a charge of trespass under the Civil Aviation Regulations. Kay Johan Vielenberg. aged 42, an aircraft engineer of Papakura, changed his plea of not guilty to guilty on the two charges of trespass. The charge under the Civil Aviation regulations was withdrawn and Vielenberg was ordered to pay $75 towards the cost of prosecution.
