No allowances in highweight
Although the official programme published in the “New Zealand Racing Calendar” for the Amberley Racing Club’s meeting tomorrow states that allowances can be claimed in the Bloomfield Highweight this is not correct.
Under the Rules of Racing one of the races in which allowances cannot be claimed is a Highweight Handicap for which the minimum weight is 57kg. The Bloomfield Highweight has such a minimum.
