Wings and a prayer
Paul McCartney has asked Phil Collins to join Wings after the departure of Denny Laine.
Collins, whose first solo single, “In The Air Tonight,” went straight to No. 1 in the charts, has already discussed plans for Wings’ next album with McCartney, reports a “New Standard” columnist, John Blake. Blake said that Collins hoped to juggle careers as a member of Wings and Genesis, as well as releasing solo albums.
