Four hurt in aerosol blast
PA Wellington An aerosol can thrown on to an open fire exploded into a room packed with people at Plimmerton, Wellington, last Saturday.
The explosion burnt the face, chest, hands, and feet of four people in the room, all of whom were treated at the Hutt Hospital.
Senior-Sergeant J. Quirke said that the police did not know if the can was put on to the fire deliberately or accidentally. Prosecution was not being considered.
