Arthritis seminar
A one-day seminar for Christchurch arthritis sufferers will be held on May 26. It is the first such gathering to be run by the local branch of the Rheumatism and Arthritis Foundation. The seminar, to be held from 10 a.n£ to 4 p.m. in the St Albans Methodist Church Hall, will deal in particular with foot care.
A panel of experts, including an occupational therapist, a physiotherapist, a chiropodist, a shoe manufacturer, and an orthopaedic surgeon, will address the seminar.
A spokesman for the foundation in Christchurch said that with one persori. in nine in the population suffering from arthritis the seminar might attract a large number of people. :
