Best lambs sell well
The best of the store liinibs yarded at Addington market yesterday had a good sale Competition from, farmers and freezing company representatives helped improve values for the best lambs by 50c to 80e Most of the 12.255 lambs yarded (6176 last week' sold below $l2 but good quality strong-woolled lines often made between $l2 10 and $l4 80 and some reached $l6 40 Some very light lambs were included and these looked a longterm fattening proposition The lightest sold down to $3 Most of the 736 store cattle varded were quite nondescript.
