Taxation
Sir, — It seems to me that the largest barrier we face in New Zealand to getting our taxation reduced is the apathy of most New Zealanders. I hear quite a lot of moaning and groaning from all quarters but very few individuals are taking the time to add action to their words. We have all heard the saying “practise what you preach.” We should kick up a storm, let our politicans know we are unhappy, and that if they do not take notice, we as their employers will remove them. — Yours, etc., C. J. JAMES. April 23, 1981.
