Cot deaths
Sir,—Sincere thanks to Round Table for the wonderful effort in raising money for cot death research through the radiothon on Sunday March 22. Although it is too late to save the lives of our babies,' the members of the Christchurch Cot Death Society are ever hopeful of a cause and cure being found so that other babies may live. As Christchurch has one of the highest incidences of cot deaths in New Zealand we had hoped for a more generous response from the people of our city, but nation-wide it was a great success. On behalf of all mem.bers, thanks especially to- those who pledged donations and Round Table for making this great project possible.—Yours, €tc (MRS) SHONA SULLIVAN , President, Christchurch Cot Death Society March 25, 1981.
