Shacklock sold
Fisher and Paykel Industries. Ltd, the Aucklandbased whitegoods manufac-' turer, is to acquire the family interest in H.E. Shacklock, Ltd, of Dunedin. The Auckland group bought a 50 per cent interest in H.E. Shacklock in 1956, and took over management responsibility. Th'e latest move means
that H E. Shacklock becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fisher and Paykel, which is to issue 350,000 ordinary 100 c shares at a premium of 120 c, plus cash, for the 50,000 shares it does not own in the Dunedin company. The name H.E. Shacklock would be retained, and the company would remain in Dunedin, the Fisher and Paykel directors said.
