The secretary of the New Zealand association, Mr ,S. E. Esam, who will retire next year after more than 24 years in office and an association with the breed extending over more than 50 years, has been elected sec-
retary of the World Angus Secretariat. Both men will hold office until the next meeting of delegates, which will be held at the time of the American Angus Association’s centenary in July, 1983. ' The next world forum will be at Edmonton in Alberta, Canada, from July 17 to 20, 1985,
Protesters who stood outside the Town Hall on the first two days of the forum, objecting to the presence of Commander W. H, Barnard of South Africa, were absent yesterday.
