Busy market mixed
The New Zealand sharemarket closed on a mixed note in busy trading vesterdav, the N.Z.U.C. index losing a marginal 0.29 points. Selected . issues continued to firm, including Ceramco, Feltex, and Skellerup, but was evident in Fletcher Challenge, New Zealand Insurance, and South British N Z Forest Products rose 2c to 397 c, and Dominion Breweries regained the 1-Oc mark aftef dropE to 113 c at the end of last week when Brierley withdrew from buying the shares. James Smith eased 3c to 83c after reporting a decline, in its net profit.
