Taylors 1:6 bonus
Taylors Drycleaning/ and Laundry Services, Ltd. of Christchurch, is planning to
make a one-for-six bonus issue from tax-free sources, the directors have announced.
An extraordinary meeting is to be called shortly to authorise the issue.
The bonus issue will participate in the final ordinary dividend for the year to March 31. and will rank equally with the existing ordinary shares in all other respects. Barring' unforeseen circumstances. it is intended to maintain the present 14c a share (14 per cent) annual dividend rate on the increased capital, the directors said.
The convertible specified preference shareholders will receive the bonus issue upon the conversion of the preference shares.
The date of the extraordinary meeting and other details would be advised as soon as possible, they said.
