Sumner, Belfast in good positions

Sumner and Belfast both held the advantage over their opponents in Christchurch Suburban Cricket Association senior matches played on Saturday. John Higginson scored 102 in helping Sumner to 199 for seven, enabling it to declare against Harewood.
