Sir, — I wish to make contact with the New Zealand branch of our family. They emigrated to New Zealand from England in 1870. Henry Freeman died in Sydenham in 1879, and his wife; Nancy, at Southbridge in 1885. They had four sons and three daughters.- — Yours, etc., ” . R. R. Sir, — Could you help find descendants -of Polly (Mary) Tod who married Samual Mullins a cattle dealer who moved from Canterbury to Palmerston North before 1888. Polly was the younger daughter of Mary and William Tod who came to New Zealand in the ship Catherine Stewart Forbes from Perth and Kinrosshire, Scotland, and landed at Port Nicholson in 1841. Her parents. were in William and John Deans’s employ at Riccarton before settling to farm at Lincoln soon after, the First Four Ships arrived m Lyttelton.
