Sixth-round results were:— Sydenham (R. Palenski 28 n. 0.; G. Robinson, 4/50, T. Mummery 3/43, L. Clifford 3/30} lost to Marist 132/7 (M. Ahern 41 n. 0., G. Davidson 28 n. 0.; Palenski 4/33). Old Boys 206/8 (D. Kerr 56, R. Baylis 42, M. Henderson- 36) beat
Suburban 133 (N. Sullivan 5/20). St Albans 193 (P. Rutledge 44; D. King 3/23) lost to BurnsideWest University 195/6 (R. Hag. lund 4L R- Alp in 40, J. Stewart 41 n. 0.; D. Grundy 4/34). Shirley beat Old Collegians by default. Riccarton v. Lancaster Park, not played.
