Use of credit cards
Sir, — Bankcard users will now be aware of the new service charge dating from May, If, like me, they are fairly modest users of the system, they will, to use the jargon, avoid further “customer-initi-ated debit entries.” Cheques ar- much cheaper. Incidentally, I wonder if Bankcard H.Q in Wellesley Street Auckland is staffed by people. I have written three times complaining about a debit entry which is not mine. So far I have heard nothing and can only assume that, like other written complaints, mine has been automatically shredded by the latest electronic wordprocessing marvel “they” have installed up there. — Yours, etc., BRIAN KEELING.
