The factory accountant would be directly responsible for— Factory Cost Control and the effective operation of a computerised Standard Costing System, ?? Budgeting—as related to the Standard Costing System. * Authorisation of all factory accounts. * Pay Office—through Paymaster and staff. * -Monthly operational 'reports — through the company’s secretary. Continuous co-ordination would exist with colleagues in the Financial Accounting Division. While desirable, full B.Comm. A.C.A. or similar qualification is held by the company to be secondary to experience in factory/cost accounting, and a strong interest in this role in the manufacturing environment.
