Mining compensation
PA Wellington . The Cabinet yesterday approved compensation payments for the Hauraki Catchment Board and the Te Aroha Golf Club over mine tailings in the area. The Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) said big sums of money were not involved but he could not recall the exact amounts.
