Sale of Air N.Z. DC10?
PA Auckland Air New Zealand appears to have sold one of its DC 10s. as well as securing an option for the sale of a second aircraft, the. airline's chief executive, Mr..M. R. Davis,, said yesterday he wa? "98 per ['cent certain’--' the deal, would go ahead, [ An' unnamed ■ American company is involved in the purchase. According to Mr. Davis, the company planned, to lease the aircraft to amain American airline. The company wanted the Air New Zealand aircraft be- | cause of its excellent condition, he said. The sale, he said, was the first sale of a tecond-hand DCIO aircraft anywhere in (the world during the last' nine months.
