Rumours scotched
The All Black lock, Graeme Higginson, yesterday scotched rumours that he was considering a shift to the North Island.
Higginson said that some time ago, before the tour to Wales, he had been approached ■ in Auckand and asked if he would be interested in working in the north. However,, nothing had developed. There was no truth, either, he said in a story that he 1
was thinking of buying ft farm in Waikato. “I don't think I would have enough money to look fait anything like that,” he said; Higginson said that he was more than happy to continue playing rugby in Canterbury, and for Canterbury, although after being away on tour for so much of this year he would have to look seriousty at how .much time he could give to the game next year.
