Quick recovery
PA Auckland The Takanini apprentice, Greg Childs, returned home yesterday after spending Saturday night in Waikato Hospital under observation for concussion.
Childs was stunned when his mount, Royal Centurion, stumbled and dislodged him as he was pulling up after the Te Rapa Handicap. Royal Centurion fell and rolled over Childs, who suffered bruising. He recovered quickly in hospital and, according to his employer, Brian Deacon, will be fit to ride at the Paeroa Racing Club’s meeting at Pukekohe tomorrow.
