Milk strike withdrawn
Milk will be delivered this week-end as usual as a result of a decision yesterday by the Dairy Workers’ .Union to withdraw its 'threat Of. industrial action at milk-treatment stations. The union held informal talks with milk station employers at Palmerston North yesterday and agreed to resume conciliation talks soon. The union is negotiating an award for milk station employees. It has already reached an agreement for employees who work in cheese and butter factories. —Advertisement
