A.A. issue closed
PA < Wellington A.A. Finance, Ltd yesterday closed for cash subscriptions its current Debenture Stock Issue as, after'making due provision for reinvestment of maturing debentures, the issue had been fully subscribed. ■ The general manager-Mr R. W. Hill) said in, a statement that support from investors had been “overwhelming.” He had expected the issue, which ' was announced on only July 14, to run at least until December but as very nearly the whole issue amount including oversubscriptions'(a total of $4.5 million) had already been subscribed, the company had no alternative but to close the issue to further -.- cash subscriptions — to ensure that investors whose deben-
tures -were maturing could be given an opportunity to reinvest. He also said that the company expected to issue a further prospectus as soon as possible.
