Cruel blow
PA Dunedin Kevin Morton, the Christchurch jockey, and his wife, Linda, suffered a cruel blow on Saturday when their second child, Jacinta, died.
The death came just two years after their first child was drowned.
The seven-month-old child died on aturday in Invercargill Hospital and her death was described as a cot death. She had been admitted
to hospital on Wednesday as a precaution for a respiratory ailment. The Mortons have been staying at Wyndham, with the trainer, Gerald Robertson.
