Bedroom damaged
A fire that started in bedding severely damaged a bedroom of a house in Newbridge Place, Ham, about 11.30 a.m. yesterday. Engines from the Harewood and Sockburn stations were quickly on the scene, and firemen using breathing apparatus were able to prevent the fire from spreading.
