A. J. White at 115c
The New Zealand sharemarket ended the week on a firmer note in busy trading yesterday. Motor Holdings rose 1c to 126 c, on an active, widely spread price range, and 352,700 Golden Bay Cement shares were traded. A. J. White gained 5c to 115 c, which would indicate another buyer in the market, although only 20 shares were traded. T. J. Edmonds regained 10c to 290 c after predictions at the annual meeting of good prospects for the company, and both Nuhaka and N.Z. Petroleum firmed on speculation. After the initial rush for shares because of proposed bonus issues, both Freightways and E. Lichtenstein eased;
