Farmers oppose fuel tax

Fuel tax paid .by .farmers on petrol and diesel used oh farms should be..: abolished,North Canterbury... Federated Farmers’ agriculture section executive decided yesterday.

..After considering a remit from : the JFerriside - branch calling for the. Government to pay a refund on fuel tax to farmers, the executive decided to ask Dominion Federated Farmers to make representation to the Government.
