Lost pair found safe
PA Auckland I Two Warkworth children suffered nothing worse than a Jate night after getting lost in a vast area of thick bush in Dome Valley on Sunday. A search by the Takapuna police found Angela Purcaskey, aged nine and her sleeping brother Nicholas, aged four, shortly before midnight. The pair had walked on ahead of their parents during a tramp in the bush between Wellsford and Warkworth. 'TZ
The police said that after searching for hours in the darkness Mr Purcaskey found the children by shouting to them, but the bush was so thick another group had to go in from : behind and take the children out.
