Man killed by fall
PA Palmerston North A rigger fell 14 metres to his death while working on a sports stadium project at Palmerston North on Friday afternoon. He was. Peter John Lowry, aged 24, of-Downes Street, Titahi Bay, Wellington. . . The Palmerston North police said the man was working on a beam at the site when he fell to the concrete floor. The police, and the Labour Department are investigating the cause of the accident.
