Buses to stop on Wednesday
A drivers’ stop-work meeting will halt Christchurch Transport Board bus services on Wednesday morning. Buses will start leaving the road soon after 9 a.m. so that drivers can attend the meeting. They will all be off the road by 10 a.m. The Tramway Employees’ Union is holding the meeting to discuss award negotiations.-
. The board says service will be restored to normal as quickly as possible after the meeting.
