Electoral Bill soon
PA . Wellington. The Government intends to introduce an Electoral Amendment Bill to Parliament this week, the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) has said. The bill was one of several the Government planned to put before the House this week, Mr Muldoon said. The bill would
make some important amendments to the electoral law, but Mr Muldoon was not specific about the changes. “A good deal of that has been discussed in public and it will obviously be highly controversial. I am sure the Opposition will make it controversial,” he said.
