MARKETING DEPARTMENT The Coca-Cola Export Corporation has a vacancy in its Marketing Department at The Corporation offices in East Tamaki, Auckland. THE COMPANY The Coca-Cola Export Corporation manufactures Concentrate and Beverage Bases for its Franchised Bottlers, and is the international division of The Coca-Cola Company, USA. The Marketing Department is responsible for the long term development of “Coca-Cola" and allied brands, and provides marketing assistance to its Bottlers throughout New Zealand. THE POSITION Following an initial familiarisation period of approximately three months duration, the successful applicant will join a small specialist marketing team, contributing in line with previous experience and future interests. In general terms the Department is concerned with Advertising, Sales Promotion. Market Research, POS Development, and Packaging Innovation. This position provides a unique opportunity for a person, early in their business career, to join an acknowledged industry leader with an enviable international marketing reputation. QUALIFICATIONS Preferred age range 22-30. Applicants may possess a tertiary' qualification in business subiects. although previous commercial experience will also be favourably considered. The main qualities sought are — stability, achievement-motivation, and career orientation, together with the ability to communicate with senior management. COMPENSATION Salary and conditions will be most attractive.
