Alternative to 1080?
PA Whakatane A newly developed chemical toxicant, designed to give additional poison control of opposums and rabbits, is being tested on Whale Island, near Whakatane.
The toxicant, called brodifacoum; is hoped to provide an alternative, to the most commonly used pest control poison, 1080.
