Anglican newspaper proposed
An Anglican newspaper for the Canterbury-Westland Diocese may be produced from October. A committee chaired by the Rev, G. A. Brady, of Kaiapoi, is examining the possibility of producing a tabloid which would appear every two months. Mr Brady said that the newspaper would contain educational information as well as parish news. “Anglican,” the newspaper’s possible name, would be produced by a voluntary editorial committee comprising former journalists, advertising agents, and printers.
