‘Penthouse’ magazine
Sir, — I like to read “Penthouse” magazine. I do not find it in the least offensive. The Junior Government Whip, Mr Dail Jones, also reads “Penthouse” and he has made it clear that he thinks it is offensive. In that case may I suggest that Mr Jones exercise his adult judgment and stop buying and reading it. He might then also leave it to me, as a reasonable, mature adult, to make up my own rnind whether I shall read it or not. I do not need Mr Jones’s busybody interference to decide the matter for me.— Yours, etc., ..... ... H. WILLIAMS. August 13, 1980.
