Dr Brash is ‘nice bloke’
Parliamentary reporter
The National Party candidate for the East Coast Bays by-election, Dr D. T. Brash, who is an economist, is a “nice bloke” who would be a valuable addition to the party caucus, said the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon). “You know my view of economists, and it has not changed,” Mr Muldoon, said yesterdav. “Fortunately, this one has had a bit of exposure to the market place. He has been in business for a number of years and I think that will offset the bad habits he may. have got into at the university,” he said.
