Grant for Chch singer
A Christchurch singer, Malcolm McNeill, was among four artists to receive the 1980 Air New Zea-land-Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council short-term travel grants which were presented by the Minister for the Arts (Mr Highet) in Wellington last evening.
, Mr McNeill, who devised ; and took on tour a show ■ called “Rooting for Randy,” • which he performed at the > Christchurch Arts Festival I earlier this year, will usehis 1 grant to visit the United ; States to seek new material 1 and to gain further performing experience.
